Amazon's Kindle 12th Gen Revealed: New Design, Rounded Edges, and Exciting Color Options!
Amazon is preparing to present the 12th generation Kindle e-reader. The design of the future model was revealed by WinFuture.
What is known
The images show several versions of the 12th generation Kindle. The device will have rounded screen edges, and the power button will be moved from the bottom of the case to the upper right side. The images also show versions with different front panel designs: in one, the screen is flush with the frame, in another, the frame slightly protrudes above it. WinFuture notes that this may be a difference in promotional images, not separate versions of the device.
According to preliminary data, the e-reader will retain a 6-inch screen. It should receive minor changes compared to the previous generation. The body colors shown in the images include black, light blue, green, and purple.
Amazon may also present the 12th generation Kindle Kids. The children's version will likely come with a cover included and have a longer warranty period.
There is no information yet on the technical specifications, release date, or price of the new e-reader. The current version of Kindle sells for $150, and Kindle Kids for $123.
