Logitech PRO X2 RAPID: a $230 gaming keyboard with Hall-effect switches and an onboard OLED screen
Logitech has launched the PRO X2 RAPID, a wired tenkeyless gaming keyboard priced at $229.99 in the US and £209.99 in the UK. It debuted September 23 at the Logitech G PLAY 2026 event alongside Logitech PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE: longer battery, haptic clicks, $200 price tag. That's a $60 jump from the original PRO X TKL RAPID, and the headline additions — analog Hall-effect switches and an onboard OLED screen — are Logitech's answer to why that markup exists.

The switches
The PRO X2 RAPID uses magnetic Hall-effect switches, which detect keypress depth using magnets rather than physical contact points. That matters because you can tune the actuation point in 0.05 mm steps anywhere between 0.1 mm and 4 mm — a far finer adjustment than most mechanical keyboards allow. The new KS-20 POM switches are also lighter at 30g actuation force, down from 35g on the previous model.
Rapid Trigger is here too: the keyboard resets a key the instant you release it rather than waiting for it to travel back to a fixed point. That translates to faster direction changes in competitive shooters. The keyboard also supports SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions) key priority — useful for games that need precise input handling when two opposing directions are pressed at once.
The OLED screen
The small OLED display sits in the top-right corner and lets you adjust actuation points, toggle Rapid Trigger, switch SOCD modes, and change the polling rate — all without alt-tabbing into software. Per Notebookcheck, the keyboard supports polling rates up to 8 kHz over USB, putting it in line with high-end mice. That software-free approach is a clear differentiator from rivals like the Razer Huntsman V3 HE, which routes those settings through its desktop app. Full configuration — including per-key profiles — is still available through Logitech G HUB for anyone who wants deeper control.
A hands-on by The Gamer notes the build feels solid at 1.07 kg, with six-layer acoustic dampening keeping the typing sound controlled. Six-layer dampening is unusual at this price; most keyboards at $230 stop at two or three layers.

The PRO X2 RAPID is available now at LogitechG.com in black, white, and magenta. At £209.99, it sits above the Corsair K65 Mini (typically £170–200) but below the Razer Huntsman V3 HE at the top of the Hall-effect market. No wider retail availability — Amazon, Best Buy, or UK high street — has been confirmed at launch.
