Corsair Warthog is now on sale: steel military case with cockpit toggles from $180
Corsair's Warthog mid-tower PC case is now shipping — and it's aimed squarely at builders who've never stopped thinking about the 2012 Vengeance C70. Named after the A-10 attack aircraft, the Warthog uses steel panels, integrated carry handles, and cockpit-style toggle switches to deliver one of the more distinctive cases on the market. At $180 (£169.99) for the base model, it's not cheap — but it isn't pretending to be a budget pick.
The look
The front panel features a Y-shaped 3D perforated cutout that Corsair says improves airflow by 12.7% over traditional flat designs. Two large steel carry handles are bolted directly to the frame — a nod straight to the C70's ammo-box origins. Both black and Olive Green colorways are available.
Inside, the Warthog is built on the same Frame 4000D platform Corsair already uses in its mainstream lineup, which means full Back-Connect motherboard support for those routing all cables behind the board. Cable management runs through RapidRoute 2.0, a pegboard-style panel that lets you move anchor points wherever you need them. Fan positions slide freely along InfiniRail steel rails — there's no fixed grid.
The hardware
The base model ships without fans. If you want them included, the Warthog RS at $200 (around £185) adds two 200mm front intake fans and a 120mm rear exhaust, per ComputerBase. A built-in GPU bracket handles sag on heavy graphics cards.
The front I/O includes a USB-C port running at 20 Gbps, two USB-A ports at 5 Gbps, and a combined 3.5mm audio jack. One of the metal toggle switches on the front panel lights up the rear I/O area — useful when you're plugging in cables in a dark room.
Availability
The Warthog is available now. UK pre-orders opened on Amazon UK in May 2026 with an August 11 ship date, per Overclock3D. The case was first shown at Computex 2026 and carries a two-year Corsair warranty. It competes on aesthetics — not price — against cases like the NZXT H7 Flow (£120) and Lian Li Lancool 216 (£80). If a no-nonsense steel box that looks like it belongs in a war film is what you're after, the Warthog has a narrow lane to itself.
