These have an auto-stop sensor that cuts the motor on contact so it doesnt shred fingers. Worth knowing because every kid's first instinct is to grab it while it's spinning and every parent watching is having a cardiac event waiting for it. It actually just stops. The sensor works. Tested by approximately 40 kids at my son's birthday
