Had both - started with Ottocast, switched to Carlinkit 5.0. Both are good but Carlinkit wins for me. Faster connection and can handle multiple devices. Bit pricier but worth it if you share your car.

My boyfriend set this whole thing up, was very proud of himself, invited people over for a movie night. the ambient light rejection on the screen we got was apparently "not designed for rooms with windows" and we watched the whole thing basically looking at a grey rectangle. he has not recovered emotionally
